The Volvo V60 Polestar is now rolling off Volvo’s production line
Last month Volvo revealed that the V60 Polestar would be a limited edition run of just 750 cars for the world, but that 125 of those will be heading for the UK – the largest market allocation of any country – and will cost £49,775. And now, seven months after Volvo confirmed the V60 Polestar for production, the first cars are heading off the production line at Volvo’s plant in Torslanda and heading off to their new owners. Although not as powerful as we’d expected, the V60 Polestar still offers an appealing performance package, with 345 bhp and 369lb/ft of torque delivering 0-62mph in an impressive 6.0 seconds.
Following on from a front three-quarter sketch released to the press last week, Lexus has given us a good view of its Premium Compact Concept from the rear - along with its proper name: LF-Ch. Equipped with Lexus's Hybrid Drive system, this BMW 1 Series rival will be able to run on both electric and gasoline when it goes on sale in 2010. The car's full volumes, raked-back windscreen and aggressive new variation on Lexus's corporate nose are visible from the sketch, while the new rear image confirms that the newcomer will combine the looks of a coupe with the practicality of four doors.

Remarkably, it’s been at least a few weeks since the last Limited Edition Bugatti Veyron turned up. But worry not, Bugatti hasn’t forgotten it’s principle marketing ploy is endless Limited Editions Veyrons, so they’ve turned up at the Dubai Motor Show with a trio of Grand Sport Limited Editions. However, its seems that having come up with endless names for its Limited Editions - Pur Sang, Fbg Par Hermès, Sang Noir, Bleu Centenaire… – and even three special Veyrons for Dubai three years ago – Veyron Nocturne, the Veyron Sang d’Argent and the Veyron Soleil de Nuit - Bugatti has run out of inspiration.
